This web page has been developed to ensure that the enjoyment and knowledge of the great machines found in vintage racing will remain into the future. If you wish you too could become a racer, this is the series for you. Spectating is great, and encouraged (you don't need to own or race a vintage car to join the club), but many would rather be on-track participating in the great racing action. This can be done with one of many attainable vintage racing cars . Datsun 510's and Roadsters, BMW 2002's, MGB's and Midgets, Austin Healy Sprites, Formula Fords and Formula Vee's, and Triumphs are all examples of entry level ready-to-race cars which can be found for under $10,000 by those that search. 8 Steps to Become a Vintage Racer Join the Vintage Racing Club of BC. Dissect member's brains for morsels of vintage racing knowledge and locations of long lost Ferraris. Decide which class/category you want to race in (group 1 cars are a good entry level). Scrounge in couch for lost change to purchase vintage racer. Scrounge in bank account for change to make vintage racer safe and reliable (read competition rules first). Get competition racing license from the Sports Car Club of BC or other schools. Adopt spirit of vintage racing and accompanying philosophy. Enter races, make friends, enjoy cars, live dream. MONTHLY MEETINGS Monthly Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month. All are welcome! Meetings are held in the confines of our various member's secret vintage racing garages.
