This was also the fourth event of the VRCBC’s IWE-REVS points series for 2022. Our Vintage races were just one part of a full weekend of road racing organized by the Sports Car Club of BC (SCCBC) and sanctioned by the Confederation of Autosport Car Clubs (CACC).  Thanks (as always) to Brent Martin for his photos (see below) of the action. They are available on Brent’s website (here), along with the many others he has taken over the years. Make sure to check them out and order at least one of yourself (or your favourite ‘hero’ driver if that’s not you) in action! The complete results for the weekend, including those for Vintage, are available on the SCCBC web site (here). The next Vintage races at the Speed-Fanatics Motorsport Circuit are the Club's British Columbia Historic Motor Races over the August 6th-7th weekend. Check out who has already entered on the BCHMR website (here) and we look forward to seeing you there!

The streaming wet conditions kept many racers away from the REVS races during the SCCBC / CACC September 15th-16th weekend at the Mission Raceway Park Road Course. But, unlike many other forms of motorsport, road racing always goes ahead 'rain or shine'!

The overall results for the weekend are available on the Results page (here) of the SCCBC web site. The indefatigable Brent Martin was also there braving Mother Nature, and has provided us with the following photos.

It wasn't just the racing that was hot at the SCCBC's fourth event of the season over the July 14th - 15th weekend; it was really warm out there!

The Vintage racers were out on the Sunday as usual, with some of the cars (and some drivers too!) showing the effects of the heat. Nevertheless, it was fun. The complete results are available on the CACC #4 Results page on the SCCBC web site (here).

Once again, thanks to Brent Martin for the photos below. You can find all of his albums on his web site (here).

The next Vintage racing at the Mission Raceway Park Road Course will be our very own British Columbia Historic Motor Races on August 17th to 19th! Watch the photos of the entrants grow on the BCHMR web site (here).

[caption id="attachment_13916" align="aligncenter" width="450"] Two of the VRCBC's top 'draft picks' for 2018 battle it out in the Saturday Novice Race! Ewen Dobbie (1959 Porsche 356A) and Gunther Ruppel (1960 Austin Healey 'Bugeye' Sprite) will be 'graduating' to Vintage racing very soon. We are really looking forward to having these two plus Scott Whidden's Alfetta on our grids. - Jim Moody photo[/caption] Posted: June 26, 2018

We again lucked out with the weather for the season’s third race event at the Mission Raceway Park Road Course on the June 23rd-24th weekend. The complete results for the weekend are available on the SCCBC web site (here).

Thanks to Jim Moody and Brent Martin for the great photos of our Vintage action (see below).

The season's fourth event - the July 14th-15th weekend - will be a 'Vintage Double' with Vintage racing on both the Saturday and the Sunday. This will be the perfect warm-up for the our big annual event, the BC Historic Motor Races, a month later during the August 18th-19th weekend.

Get those entries in! See you at the track!

The 2017 race season at Mission Raceway Park Road Course has begun! The first Sports Car Club of BC (SCCBC) event, sanctioned by the CACC, was held over the April 1-2 weekend. As usual, our Vintage REVS series races were on the Sunday, when the weather covered the full spectrum from hail, through heavy rain to sunshine! Welcome to BC in the springtime.

The complete results for all of the weekend’s racing are available on the SCCBC website (here). The Vintage Closed Wheel and the Open Wheel / Sports Racer (which includes our VRCBC racers) results are available in PDF under the 2017 Season menu on this web site (here).

Check out some of Brent Martin’s photos of the Vintage action below. Brent has many more motorsport photos on his web site (here).

The next race event is coming up quickly on the April 29-30 weekend, with Vintage races on the Sunday as usual. See you at the track!
