Several of our VRCBC members went south over the July long weekend to compete in the Pacific Northwest Historics put on by our good friends at SOVREN at Pacific Raceways in Seattle.

Proudly showing ‘our flag’ (well actually our decals) were: Shelby Clark (#37 yellow Alfa), Steve Clark (#260 yellow Elva), Karlo Flores (#59 white Sprite), Paul Haym (#82 orange BMW), Tim Pickstone (#63 green Porsche), Phil Pidcock (#46 blue Spitfire), Gil Stuart (#29 red Volvo), Roger van der Marel (#40 green Alfa), Doug Yip (#782 red Mustang) and Ralph Zbarsky (#130 green MGB GT).

Brent Martin was there and has passed on some of his photos of the action.

Our friends across the border, the Society Of Vintage Racing ENthusiasts – better known to all as SOVREN (here) – held their premier annual event, the Pacific Northwest Historics at Pacific Raceways over their July 4th holiday weekend. Many VRCBC members and friends of the Club, who often race with us at the Mission Raceway Road Course, took part.

Brent Martin was there too and has provided us with some great action photos (see below). You can see more of Brent’s photos of this and many other motorsports events on his web site (here).
