The 40th (wow!) edition of the All British Field Meet (aka “The Greatest Show on British Wheels”) will be held on Saturday, May 17th at Vancouver’s beautiful VanDusen Botanical Garden. The organizers have guaranteed that the weather will be perfect this year – that is, it will NOT be typically British!
This year, the ABFM’s featured marque will be that most British car of them all – Rolls Royce – and it will also recognize the 40th annniversary of the Westcoast British Motorcycle Owners Club (BMOC). The display of modified classics also returns this year. This is a rapidly growing area of interest with automotive enthusiasts. The VRCBC will again be in its usual spot near the entrance with some of our members’ British racing cars on display. Please stop by; we enjoy talking to everyone about our Vintage racing cars, our big BC Historic Motor Races weekend in August, and just about all of the road racing activity at the Mission Raceway Park Motorsports Circuit in general.
