The full results for the weekend are posted on the SCCBC web site Results page (here). As usual, Brent Martin has provided us with some great photos (see below) of our Vintage cars (and the drivers too of course!) in action. Thanks Brent! You can find all of Brent's photos on his web site (here). The next Vintage on-track action at Mission will be during the SCCBC's 'Dash for Dads' event over the June 15-16 weekend. See you at the track!

The 'road racing gods' must have felt guilty for the miserable rain storm throughout the September race weekend because they delivered beautifully warm, sunny weather for the SCCBC's final event of the season on October 13th-14th. As usual, our Vintage REVS races were on the Sunday.

The full results for the weekend-including Vintage-are available on the SCCBC web site (here). Brent Martin has again provided us with a sample of his always excellent action photos (see below). For many more of Brent's shots of this weekend and many other motorsport events, check out his web site (here). Thanks Brent.

See you at the track next year!

The streaming wet conditions kept many racers away from the REVS races during the SCCBC / CACC September 15th-16th weekend at the Mission Raceway Park Road Course. But, unlike many other forms of motorsport, road racing always goes ahead 'rain or shine'!

The overall results for the weekend are available on the Results page (here) of the SCCBC web site. The indefatigable Brent Martin was also there braving Mother Nature, and has provided us with the following photos.

It wasn't just the racing that was hot at the SCCBC's fourth event of the season over the July 14th - 15th weekend; it was really warm out there!

The Vintage racers were out on the Sunday as usual, with some of the cars (and some drivers too!) showing the effects of the heat. Nevertheless, it was fun. The complete results are available on the CACC #4 Results page on the SCCBC web site (here).

Once again, thanks to Brent Martin for the photos below. You can find all of his albums on his web site (here).

The next Vintage racing at the Mission Raceway Park Road Course will be our very own British Columbia Historic Motor Races on August 17th to 19th! Watch the photos of the entrants grow on the BCHMR web site (here).

[caption id="attachment_13916" align="aligncenter" width="450"] Two of the VRCBC's top 'draft picks' for 2018 battle it out in the Saturday Novice Race! Ewen Dobbie (1959 Porsche 356A) and Gunther Ruppel (1960 Austin Healey 'Bugeye' Sprite) will be 'graduating' to Vintage racing very soon. We are really looking forward to having these two plus Scott Whidden's Alfetta on our grids. - Jim Moody photo[/caption] Posted: June 26, 2018

We again lucked out with the weather for the season’s third race event at the Mission Raceway Park Road Course on the June 23rd-24th weekend. The complete results for the weekend are available on the SCCBC web site (here).

Thanks to Jim Moody and Brent Martin for the great photos of our Vintage action (see below).

The season's fourth event - the July 14th-15th weekend - will be a 'Vintage Double' with Vintage racing on both the Saturday and the Sunday. This will be the perfect warm-up for the our big annual event, the BC Historic Motor Races, a month later during the August 18th-19th weekend.

Get those entries in! See you at the track!
