The weather was great for the third race event of the 2026 road racing season at Mission Raceway Park Motorsports Circuit over the June 20th-21st weekend. The Sports Car Club of BC (SCCBC) hosted their ‘Solstice Heats’ event, sanctioned as always by the Confederation of Autosports Car Clubs (CACC).
The SCCBC ran their usual Closed Wheel (CW) and Open Wheel (OW) race classes on both Saturday and Sunday, while our Vintage cars raced on the Sunday only. Note that there won’t be any Vintage racing at the next CACC / SCCBC event over the July 18th-19th weekend, however there will still be lots of great action, so make sure to check it out! The next Vintage action will be the BC Historic Motor Races (BCHMR) on August 8th-9th. See you at the track!!
