Peter Strachan (1972 Datsun 510), Ivan Lessner (1958 Austin Healey 100-6), Robin Liu (1970 Datsun 240Z) and Gunther Ruppel ( (1960 Austin Healey ‘Bugeye’ Sprite)[/caption] Posted: July 25, 2022 The fourth races of the 2022 VRCBC’s Vintage racing season took place on Sunday, July 17th at the Speed-Fanatics Motorsport Circuit at Mission Raceway Park. This was also the fourth event of the VRCBC’s IWE-REVS points series for 2022. Our Vintage races were just one part of a full weekend of road racing organized by the Sports Car Club of BC (SCCBC) and sanctioned by the Confederation of Autosport Car Clubs (CACC).  Thanks (as always) to Brent Martin for his photos (see below) of the action. They are available on Brent’s website (here), along with the many others he has taken over the years. Make sure to check them out and order at least one of yourself (or your favourite ‘hero’ driver if that’s not you) in action! The complete results for the weekend, including those for Vintage, are available on the SCCBC web site (here). The next Vintage races at the Speed-Fanatics Motorsport Circuit are the Club's British Columbia Historic Motor Races over the August 6th-7th weekend. Check out who has already entered on the BCHMR website (here) and we look forward to seeing you there!

George is a real 'Vintage traditionalist' - he drove his Healey to the track, raced it and then drove it back home again - just like the good old days! - Brent Martin photo[/caption] Posted: October 17, 2019 The final race event of the CACC 2019 season at the Mission Raceway Road Course was the SCCBC's Wet Leaf Classic over the October 13th-14th weekend. Well, they certainly picked an appropriate name this time! It was damp and windy. The results are posted on the SCCBC Results web page (here). As always, a big thank you to Brent Martin for his photos (see below). You can see all of Brent's motorsport photo albums on his web site (here).

The full results for the weekend are posted on the SCCBC web site Results page (here). As usual, Brent Martin has provided us with some great photos (see below) of our Vintage cars (and the drivers too of course!) in action. Thanks Brent! You can find all of Brent's photos on his web site (here). The next Vintage on-track action at Mission will be during the SCCBC's 'Dash for Dads' event over the June 15-16 weekend. See you at the track!

It wasn't just the racing that was hot at the SCCBC's fourth event of the season over the July 14th - 15th weekend; it was really warm out there!

The Vintage racers were out on the Sunday as usual, with some of the cars (and some drivers too!) showing the effects of the heat. Nevertheless, it was fun. The complete results are available on the CACC #4 Results page on the SCCBC web site (here).

Once again, thanks to Brent Martin for the photos below. You can find all of his albums on his web site (here).

The next Vintage racing at the Mission Raceway Park Road Course will be our very own British Columbia Historic Motor Races on August 17th to 19th! Watch the photos of the entrants grow on the BCHMR web site (here).
