The weather was great for the second race event of the 2026 road racing season at Mission Raceway Park Motorsports Circuit over the May 9th-10th weekend. The Sports Car Club of BC (SCCBC) hosted their ‘Sunburst Speed Challenge’ event, sanctioned as always by the Confederation of Autosports Car Clubs (CACC).
The SCCBC ran their usual Closed Wheel (CW) and Open Wheel (OW) race classes on both Saturday and Sunday, while our Vintage cars raced on the Sunday only.
