The second CACC-sanctioned, SCCBC-organized race event of the 2016 season – the Spring Sprint Weekend – was held on April 30 and May 1 at the Mission Raceway Park Road Course. It had the usual two full days of on-track action, including Time Attack on the Saturday and Vintage races on the Sunday.
